Residency at het Lage Noorden, Marrum (2025) 


For our project via Artist in Space by Noordenaars, we researched folklore stories from the Wadden region. In the first phase of the project, 
we searched for a language to communicate with the landscape. Based on the book Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, we asked 
the Salt Marsh of Friesland for permission to work together with her. 
During field research, we came across Dobbes, freshwater sources on the salty salt marshes, forming round, circular shapes.
We incorporated these shapes, the landscape her answer, into our first performances.
